JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Traffic began flowing today over the nation’s first project to begin construction under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.   1. I don’t mind them putting in a new bridge next to the historic bridge but I DO NOT see any reason for them to tear down the historic bridge. What was the reasoning for this? What a tragedy for our American history.
